Frequently Asked Questions
What if visitors don't have smartphones?
Farmers can sign visitors in, either the normal way or inside their FarmView account!
What if there's no internet?
Nowadays, with 4G almost everywhere this shouldn't happen. If it does, we recommend keeping a pen and paper sign-in sheet as a backup. You can then enter the data into Farm Alert later on FarmView.
How do I export my data?
When you have logged in, look for an "Export / Import" button at the top of your screen.
Can I customize the sign-in form?
Currently not. Our sign-in sheet has been designed with help from Red Tractor, the British Poultry Council, and Producers.
How quickly can I set this up?
Upon sending an email to join Farm Alert, you will receive a welcome email with your FarmView login details within 24 hours.
Is visitor data private?
Yes. Your visitor data stays with your farm and on our encrypted private servers. Data is yours, only available to your farm, your Producers, and Agencies (permission required).
